Seven Isles was born from our frustration with the Indian watch market. As collectors, we grew tired of paying exorbitant premiums for global releases that bypassed India, while navigating erratic customs and unreliable grey markets. We saw fellow enthusiasts trapped between low-quality alternatives and inaccessible luxury, and we realized it was time to build the watch we truly wanted.
Our name honors Mumbai’s history, inspired by the archipelago reclaimed to form the modern metropolis. Just as those seven islands were united into one, our watches harmonize hundreds of intricate components into a singular, enduring creation. Our mission is to capture the cultural essence of Mumbai—from its serene coastlines to its bustling heritage streets—within every timepiece.
Turning this vision into reality was our greatest challenge. We committed to zero compromises, spending months auditing global partners and enduring ten grueling months of design and production refinements. When we finally held our first prototype, every ounce of fatigue evaporated. Seven Isles is our labor of love: an enthusiast-driven brand weaving Mumbai’s legacy into mechanically robust, beautifully finished watches. Dishant
For Dishant, the passion is generational. Coming from a deeply rooted family business background, he inherited not just a sharp, strategic acumen, but a profound appreciation for horology from his father and grandfather. His grandfather’s collection of killer 1960s vintage pieces set his standard early on for what a watch should be.
Prajwal
For Prajwal, the fascination started with a tactile memory. As a child, winding the old mechanical HMT his father received for his tenth board exams sparked a curiosity that eventually grew into the "disease of horology"—a lifelong obsession with movements, materials, and collecting. While Dishant brought his business expertise to the table, Prajwal’s background in marketing and strategy, combined with an exhaustive knowledge of horology, helped shape exactly what we wanted our brand to become.

Centuries ago, Mumbai was not a single landmass but an archipelago of seven distinct islands: Bombay, Colaba, Little Colaba, Mahim, Mazagaon, Parel, and Worli. Through generations of ambitious engineering and land reclamation projects, these separate islands were gradually united into the singular metropolis we know today.
Our ultimate vision is to systematically map out different cultural pockets of Mumbai through our timepieces. Whether it is the quiet sanctuary of the coastline or the bustling heritage of its oldest streets, every watch we design is created to capture a distinct piece of the city's soul.
